I noticed the Mosbek's and Demarais are running with the SS cars at Brainerd. This brings up a question that I have discussed with several Stock and SS racers. Are most Stocker combos able to qualify under the SS index at SS events? I understand that most will have a weight/hp variance, but, generally speaking, do you guys think most combos could qualify? It seems like roughly a .6 difference from A/SA to SS/EA and the same from F/SA to SS/KA. (I based this off of their runs from Joliet this year). Also, I remember Mr Demarais saying he had a SS style intake he would change to when running SS, dont know if he did there or not, also dont know if the Mosbeks changed anything either. If you have done this, I would love to know the hard facts on the crossover.

With so much overlap, you would have to be nuts NOT to take advantage of this. The Oscar Meyers of both these eliminators run so stone slow anyhow.
Sounds like something a quite smart person would do. |
