MCR Marion SD results

The results for the MCR race at Marion, SD this last weekend were:

Saturday Winner: Rod Neugebauer
Runner up: Terry Grosz

Sunday Winner: Charlie Berner
Runner up: Tanner Wiese

Despite being a very warm and muggy weekend there were 47 cars on Saturday and 52 on Sunday.

Just a follow up on the Iverson Chrysler Center MCR race at TVD. The weather was hot - windy - humid and very trying for the track crew and although sat was a rough start MCR has to Thank Glen and his crew for there hard work and determination to get an impossible track to hook back to a National Event prepped track. MCR also has to Thank Bob Sherwood for stepping up and watering for dust control . And wait till you racers who went rounds get your checks Thanks to Charlie at Midwest Factory Finishes this weekend will be MCR biggest payouts. And last to all the racers who came to TVD this weekend we work hard to bring great races with big pay locally and all the work pays off when we see your smiling faces in the staging lanes!

Look forward to seeing all at Rock Falls this weekend (June 17-18) and back to TVD (July 1-2)

One last comment on or race last week end - MCR started raising money for Make A Wish and thanks to all the great hearted racers we raised $850 ( this will be a campaign at TVD only)

Thanks again to the Midwest Factory Finishes Bonus MCR paid out $16000 in prize money last weekend!
