I wonder how many people would race if they had a Stock/ Super Stock Combo ? At the division races. Just a thought ?

before they started the double pro-ams, alot of the tracks had a combo on saturday nights along with box/no box at the divisional races. . S/SS and a rod combo. Participation varied from track to track, but was obviously more in the areas IHRA had more cars at the time.
If IHRA did try to combine S and SS and were even mildly successful, you can be the boys in Glendora would have been watching.

Hey Ken...would/will jump at that easily...ALL of our Carolina Class Racers Association events are combo races...supposedly the Super/stock car has advantage...but my recollection over last three years...a stock eliminator car has won a fair number of these events...don't "think" IHRA would be on-board with such (really what do I know???!!!**)...
