I am about to order my Caltrac split springs springs for my 67 Cuda that will be running in K/SA. On Calvert they give me an option from a 1+ height, neutral -1 and -02 heights.
Which one would be the best choice? |

That body style is similar to my 68 Mustang coupe. I had the lowered springs and had tire clearance issues. Replaced them with the lifted versions - +2. I think - and I run 28/10s in there with mini tubs. Might be able to fit 30/10.

thanks, i have a set of the older SS springs on it now. and a old set of MT 29" slicks. I will see how it looks and fits and make my determination then.

Our A body stockers are at neutral.
John used to make a narrower spring that made tire clearance easier to work with on A Bodies. Duster and Demon really do not need them but they make it much easier on earlier A body cars and some of other A body stuff like 67 to 72 Darts.

After you get the springs and you want to adjust ride height, it is easier to adjust up than down.

With respect to the commenters (and lots of other racers who run his stuff), I would call Calvert.

Also keep in mind whatever you get, when you first install, they will settle and change. At least mine did. I got stock height and was worried it was too high at first but they settled in nicely.
