Question NHRA Releases Stock / Super Stock Averages Throught 4-2 3/

Apparently I'm missing something. Is there a break or other reason where certain runs don't get included in the averages? I ran a K/SA Aspen wagon at the Orlando LODRS, but never ran faster than .05 under in qualifying or eliminations. It's not on the list with the link posted at http://nhraracer.com/ .-.119 is the slowest run I found so far in Stock.

For a run to count it must be -.0.350 under index.

Last line of third paragraph.

Thumbs up Re: NHRA Releases Stock / Super Stock Averages Throught 4-2

Obviously I did miss something. Thank you.

I can make that -.350 my second "goal" since my first was running the index.

I guess the 1988 M/SA Mustang 302- 225/215 with slower runs (-.1515 avg.) was included because the 1988 K/SA Mustang 302-225-215 is the same combo with a -.79575 avg.

The .350 applies to the fast average data base. The following is for the slow average data base which is used for hp reductions:

"The screenings will look for an overall engine family average less than 0.550-seconds under. Runs of 0.100-second under and slower are not included in calculating the engine average:"

This is in the section after the sliding scale list for hp hits.

If a category goes "Mineshaft", the only runs that count will be runs -1.20 under. I.E. Gainesville national, Stock no runs are listed for any car.

Pretty sure it's -.40 for NHRA factoring, unless it's been changed. Jim
