Div 1 National Open Points

Im assuming the national open points standings are very incorrect! As in not even close, who tracks this stuff?

its on the div 1 website James, I believe P C Richards gives something out to the champ at the Banquet, or used to i could be wrong

They used to but I believe the Open points program ended 2 years ago.

Correct it has been a while. The last year there were points Gary Parker won in Stock

I was second in the mighty Gremlin needed to go a couple more rounds at the Dutch, as Gary had hurt his motor.

Yup they got rid of it 2 years ago. Points indicate who went now. 10 points I think per race... and give you a grade point that’s all.

All you get for a National Open is a grade point, no championship points. Haven't for years. Jim
