Default Thanks Torco & Evan Knoll

I forgot to mention in my earlier MIR posts -- a great big THANK YOU to Evan Knoll and the whole Torco Race Fuels crew. A Torco guy was riding around one morning, giving "Buy 4 Gallons, Get 1 Free" coupons to all the sportsman racers. Much appreciated!

Ditto - I sent a personal message to Evan Knoll through his myspace page Sunday night when we got back home. It's much appreciated when us sportsman racers get any kind of support. Evan Knoll is a great asset to our sport, he's done a lot to help out the little guys.

I hope we get a chance to meet him at Rockingham.

WOW!! The more I hear about Evan Knoll the more thankful I am that he is associated with our sport. Kelley the Welder, will definately file that away for furture emergency welding situations.

While I'm at it, I was very impressed with the Hoosier guys who were at Maryland. Something punctured one of our slicks this weekend and we really didn't want to plug it. We toted it over to them (courtesy of Jamie Southard's golf cart) and they broke the tire down and put a patch on it. Coolest thing I have seen in a while, they actually set the tire on fire. Scott explained why and it made sense but I can't tell you why (to seal it or something). They did all this for us and didn't charge us a dime. We love our Hoosiers!!!
