Going to Fontana Open with 4 of our Stock/Superstock cars
Can we tech a Stocker and a Superstock if we can get a point for each. We can probably not drive both cars each. If we let some one else drive two of the cars can we keep the points for ourselves as the owners? We have been calling Div. 7 Director unsuccessfully all week

Maybe in the coming future I'll take you up on the offer. Eric

Seems to me, if you enter and tech a car, you have a grade point. It may have changed, since the practice of buying grade points has come under scrutiny, but if you make a time only, you go on the ladder. If you don't feel up to running two eliminator categories, make a run in both cars, then run whichever one you want to. The problem is that in a National Open, Stock and Super Stock are run as a combo,so only one entry would be accepted. If I'm wrong, somebody please say so. The May race is a regular Div.7 event with separate eliminator categories, so that would work then.

Good Evening,
My understanding is if the car is there and you enter and tech it in it counts as an entry. 1 Grade Point. Tech in 1 in SS and 1 in Stock and again my understanding is you would receive 1 grade point for each category. 2 Total. As far as running both I do not believe that is possible. This is what I have seen/heard My 2 cents....... |

Points are for the driver not the car owner.

If all else fails, enter one car in Super Street, one in the Combo.

I was told Owner of the car I drive has the same grade points as me as long as you list him as car owner on teck card.
