Dutch Classic STK/SS qualifying for Thursday

Here are the links for SS/STK qualifying at the Dutch Classic for Thursday. It was about 2400 ft. Temp was 80 and the barometer was 29.40.

It started raining about 12:00 today. SST and STK made it down before the rain came. It stop raining but does not look good for the rest of the day. They just called super comp and SS to the lanes, its 1:15 now. It looks likes it could rain anytime now, will see what happens.

It was very slow for STK this morning. Air was about 3000ft, temp 75, barometer 29.35, humidity 85%. Most cars slowed down .15. The weather for tomorrow is supposed to be nice, high of 69 with allot less humidity.

Not sure I can keep you all updated everyday, but I will do my best. I have my hands full trying to get ready for top stock

They canceled the race for the day about 4pm, Super Stock never got to run. The weather looks great for the rest of the weekend. Here is the link for todays qualifying of stock.

Like Dale said, top stock and junior stock were canceled. To say it was disappointing is an understatement. Dave Ley is the guy who makes these classes work, he does a great job. Through no fault of his own it was canceled.

My opinion on why it was canceled will stay silent. I will not compete or support this class again. On a side note they did have time to run one round of class in stk and ss. Fastest car in the class won, I think that says it all.

They let drivers who entered in the Top Stock class also have one run. Richard Atkins in his '67 Shelby went 9.98 at 133 for the class win. I can't go through all the other classes, but a and b. I won A/SA 10.05 at 131, Fred Thibeault won B/SA 10.30 not sure of the mph.
