Maybe I'm the last to know. I entered Brainerd Nationals, and like in the past I was planning to go the week before for the D5 divisional and stay over. Just to double check before checking into motels,I looked at schedule....kinda confusing showing divisional August 13-14, so I called the track.
Got two different answers, but the correct one I think is: Divisional 13th & 14th, Thursday and Friday morning Nationals for Sportsman, Friday afternoon and Saturday Pros: Sat & Sunday I'm open to correction its gonna be a zoo...…………. |

My understanding of the schedule is Thursday and Friday morning will be the Division race.
Friday afternoon the National Event starts for the Lucas Sportsman racers and will be just like a National event from there. I would assume the National Event sportsman eliminations will start Saturday morning. You know what assume stands for though when you make that mistake. (*** out of u & me) This is not official from anyone other than what was proposed by NHRA. Time will tell I guess. Rick Cates Canyon, TX |

Would I be able to go to the points meet only? I am sure my 2 or 3 grade points are not going to get me in to the national event.

After my terrible experience with the track staff(A Holes at the front gate) last year during the end of the points meet and the entire national event I'm not going to miss that cluster fo&k of a race this year. Which is really to bad because I enjoy most of D5 racers and the D5 NHRA staff.

Not sure how that could be enforced however, that is the way I was told it was to work. Rick Cates Canyon, TX |

I looked at the BIR National entries, stock is @ 48 entered with a quota of 60, probably will be full in a week, or two.

The Governor of Minnesota canceled the Minnesota State Fair.......first time since 1946. I doubt that the Libtards in Minnesota are going to look fondly upon the "Zoo" at Brainerd this August. Common sense might surmise that with no spectators allowed and no "Zoo" allowed there would be no reason to run the events at Brainerd this year. Just food for thought.........hoping that I'm wrong.
