My friend Jack Foshee races a 80 Truck = Runs about a week under the index.
We ran a 81 to 86 (Same body except Grille) for a long time and it ran around 1.3 to 1.6 under. There is one in Canada and another in Ohio that is very fast. Difficult to dial = Think a garage Door in the wind! Easy to see out of at the Finish. Many different HP combos for 360.

There was one that showed up in this area that was in "N" . It ran fast for the class, sounded really gnarly. It might have been one from the Irving stable. I assume it was the 360, and it had a thermoquad on top of an iron intake.

We run a 318 Aspen Wgn (Held National Record for a couple years). The 318 is same HP in F Body so no reason to run it in a Giant Brick of a truck The 360s are as much as 45 less HP than in cars and WAY MORE compression in Truck. I have never seen a 360 Truck that was not a Rocket!

Is there any advantage/disadvantage to the '90s engine with TBI over the '80s carb'ed engines?
