Restrictions and requirements along with the penalties for not obeying them are constantly changing. I live close to the state line and have to (not by choice, trust me) go to Maryland regularly. I quit trying to keep up with 2 states long ago. Every week is some new edict from the Kings and clowns in Harrisburg and Annapolis. These officials are flailing about with no concern for the damage done to businesses, activities and people's way of life. NOTHING I would have normally attended or participated in has happened this Summer. And now it's August. If there is a race you can get to, go. Don't count on anything happening. Reserving a hotel room for PRI is about all the optimism I could muster.

My sense is people have been beaten into submission and have given up on 2020. Riots & unrest unrelenting, disease, politics at near civil war level animosity... Stop trying to have any kind of normal life, hunker down, get through the election, and hope for the best for 2021 is what we are left with.
