Exclamation NHRA S/SS Racers Take Note

Do yourselves a favor and occationally check your combination in the guides! Every once in a while I have noticed that "someone" will make a change to the guides in order to "fix or bring in line" some combos. While just checking my combo out I noticed that after 20++ years my intake manifold # changed! For me it's not a problem as the #s have never been correct and (finally) I'd like to thank whoever fixed it. BUT, over the last few years I have seen correct HP. ratings changed to incorrect ratings, shipping wts. changed and some engine specs changed with no notification. I'm glad to see someone is looking to correct mistakes and keep things up to date but I can tell you from prior experience that if an incorrect change is made and it isn't promptly brought to NHRA's attention then it will be very difficult or impossible to get fixed and the racer may have to live with it.
