Default qjet mods question

i have a fresh/new race prepped qjet...built before trans brakes came into play. much modification to prep for transbrake 327ci. SS application? (im showing my age i know lol...happy holidays all !)

You will be OK running it as is but when I was in the business, I plugged the secondary accelerator well tubes on any combination using a rev-limiter. When an engine is on the rev- limiter it can produce puddling in the intake causing an over-rich condition. My customers that had Racepaks reported it really cleaned up the launch and didn't affect down track metering. These are the two 1/8 inch diameter brass tubes in the airhorn. I tapped them to 3-48 and installed set screws. This allowed the customer an easy way to try plugged or unplugged tubes. You can remove them or pinch them off ( crude ). I had a few customers who tried this on a footbrake car with success but others experienced a bog which is usually the case. It depends on a few variables to make it work footbraking.
