Good morning to all,
I remember that car when we used to race Stock / Super Stock at Englishtown on regular Sundays. Somehow I thought that the wagon was Lee Sherman's old car before he built the Camaro. Did you try reaching out to the Morehead Family, I'm pretty sure they would be able to answer any questions you'd have about the car. If I remember correctly I think that it was Ron Morehead Sr. brother's son that raced that car. Sorry, his first name escapes me at the moment. Give them a try.
Have a good day and good luck on the "hunt"!

Respectfully,
Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA

That would be my old car. I think the Moreheads sold it to some good old boys from Eastern Pennsylvania. It was repainted two tone blue kind of the way that Frank tantillo the wagon master had it after he bought it from me. Bob Mulaney won division one with it in about 1997. After that the owners a s k e d Joe Jr to drive it and he said no thanks which was probably a good move in retrospect. As far as I know the car still sits in Pennsylvania. Maybe the old man on the hill at bnrc would know something about it

I sure appreciate your reply YAC. I talked with Abraham Lincoln Morehead at Indy on Thursday and he assured me that his family never owned this wagon. I do remember Bob Mullaneys success with a wagon . He was the allstar rep one year at Columbus and during prerace teardown officials didn’t like his intake manifold. He drove to Harlan Updikes house in Fredericksburg, Ohio and Harlan loaned/sold him a more tech friendly intake….Billy Nees to the rescue ??

Not much help but I seem to remember "Franks Family Racing". The last name was Franks.

Yeah the Frank’s family racing is who Bob Mullany used to drive for
quite a few different cars in their stable. I haven’t seen them out in at least five years but if you could somehow get a hold of the Frank’s they may be able to help
You may be able to call Numidia Dragway, I know Bob announces there every now and then maybe leave a message for him to contact you

well I don't know about that one but I remember when the car was bright yellow and it had morehead in huge letters on the door and I thought Kevin Fuller had painted it yellow. I did talk to Ron Ron in the staging Lanes about it and we discussed it as being my old car. Lee Sherman's wagon was in New England also and I believe the Parker Brothers had it. Maybe Barry knows something about one or the other after he gets finished driving home from Indy. Who is interested in this Relic I mean legendary race car?

Frank Tantilo had it. Peter Merceri bought it from him, I bought it from Peter, Brian Morehead bought it from me. I also bought the body of Lee shermans car from him and put all my spare parts in it. Then Brian Morehead bought that one from me also. Kevin Fuller bought it from the Moreheads I believe. Than sold it to the Frank family. What happened to the lee Sherman car after I sold it to Brian they must know. BP
