How would a racer tap dance around the question of why no voltage?

Larry- You just run a 12 volt and a ground wire through the bottom of the battery to the posts on the inside and low and behold you have a fake battery that will test 12 volts. It's been done. As a side note, the old Delco batteries that had the "Delco Eye" showed green when fully charged but when you drain the acid it becomes clear. Inside is a clear glass tube with a green ball attached to the bottom. If you find the right translucent paint, it can be painted to look exactly like it's supposed to when fully charged. Or so I'm told. LOL!

Aw geez, you know I thought there was a problem. Darn battery just won't take a charge. I'll change it when I get home! Things aren't made the way they used to........... Have a Great Day. Respectfully, Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA ![]() |
