Mutiny in Minnesota ….part 1.

It seems as though Don Kennedy isn’t the only one spinning these days. The Top fuel racers elected not to run the evening qualifying session due to unsafe track conditions. I wonder what the fans thought of that ?

What were the weather conditions at that time?

It was dark and there was no way to run Top Fuel. During F/C there was a hour delay due to an oil down. But, the left lane seemed to have issues. No lights at BIR.

Weather was ok. Oil down on starting line then a flat started getting dark no track lights. Several funny cars lost traction on starting line so tf teams said no we are not risking it.

I didn't realize BIR doesn't have track lights. How many other national event tracks don't have lights.
