How many folks at this point know, that this year, there are no class eliminations at any national event other than Indy, and the Sportsnats?
I know it was mentioned in the " The Demise of class eliminations" thread, but I'm not sure everyone really read through that thread. Kp |

Kevin, I know it seems like a downhill move that we will contest class
at LODRS events, and it probably is, but there is one upside. Most National events have 60 entries. Most point meets have a 100, give or take. The real possibility exists to have more cars per class, which equals more fun. I wouldn't have minded seeing them at well attended National Opens, to see more all out runs. NHRA could have made it a softer landing by offering 500.00 to the winner, and 250.00 runner up. Thanks, J.R. |

It would be an upside if these events were added.
In a reallity, we are giving up a lot of our racing identity...

NHRA needs more time for things other than Stock and Super Stock. We've been moved further toward the bottom of the list. Next step is class not being contested anywhere but Indy. If there.

Unfortunately, the suits in Glendora have No Idea what class eliminations mean to the Majority of stk/ss racers. (the OLD Guys) …. They do like our entry fees though …..
