Lot of withdrawals in several classes, if my car was ready I?d be there because I always enjoyed running there. I didn?t necessarily agree with others who have stated that withdrawing usually occurs too late for others to fill in. Obviously not the case here which begs the question are class racers growing tired of their treatment at National events? Forecast looks great too!

Not in my case. Mechanical problem and the US border came up with some new needed papperwork as of June 1st. Two different forms, one for cars with a Vin. and another for body in white or custom made. ?????? Heard it takes two weeks to finalize. This crap may screw up my entry to Norwalk.

This is informational. Best to confirm details yourself.

The link was sent to me as we race both sides of the border, but are NY based

With the info I've heard so far it's the State of Michigan that is enforcing this new paper work crap. Looks to be the only State (idiots). Be readty to get turned back if you don't comply.

Maine border crossings have been requiring this paperwork since 2019. A few have slipped through over the years but for the most part it has been required in this neck of the woods.

When asked about it I was informed it was a federal regulation but they were not consistent in application. (Yet)

Many from the East Coast have been driving well out of their way to cross into NY rather then Maine. Hopefully the NY crossings don't close that loophole
