KELSON & KELSON STOCK/SUPERSTOCK SERIES - RACE 8 REPORT
Greenfield Dragway, September 21, 2024

After a multi-week breather, the ACSSA points series resumed at Greenfield Dragway on Sept. 21 with a race sponsored by C2 Automotive, thank you Chris for your support of the ACSSA from Day 1! After two rounds of Qualifying, we headed into the 1st Round with 17 cars making the call. The weather was overcast with temperatures in the 60s, a DA increasing through the day from 1000-1800', and Water Grains hovering around 58-60. Jeremy Keans sat in the top spot after Qualifying with his 1983 Monte Carlo at a stout -1.298 under his 1/4th mile Index of 12.45.

John Armstrong showed right away that he was on a mission this day, claiming the Best Reaction Time and Best Package Awards with his opening Round 1 win. He carried that momentum all the way to the Winner?s Circle that day, while Bill Sheppard finished in the Runner-Up spot. Congrats to both!
