Default STK/SS class in D3

Why is there not STK or SS class contested at any Div 3 points meet or national open like every other div has?

I understand that the Columbus sports nationals was moved to SGMP (500 plus miles south of most D3 racers and it had a killer car count by the way). But to just give the finger to all the DIV 3 STK/SS guys?

Don't give me that BS excuse there is class at the US Nationals. We were all told by NHRA years ago moving class from National events to Points meets or National open's was so racers could run for class and not haft to worry about car counts or grading points. I guess not if you live in D3.

I mean is there any reason NHRA could not make the Oct Indy Fall classic a STK/SS class event? possibility of good weather, no AHFS at that race. or would that be to much to ask for?

SRAC guys please chime in.
