I know this isn't stock/ss related but I need advice on tuning my son's jr. dragster. It has a raptor engine w/ a 28 mm slide carb. prior to the burnout the it idles about 3700-4000 after the burnout it drops to 2000 and acts like it's going to cut off. This thing has all kinds of jets...which one's need changing?
Thanks for any help!

I had a similar problem, A friend that knows about Jrs threaded the cap where the cable goes thru and installed a threaded cable end holder with a lock nut to adjust the idle. that cable adjuster did a much nicer job of setting the idle.

Thanks Herb, when I get time to come and test I will take you up on that offer. Do you have jets for 28 mm carbs? I'll call you!
