Question converting to 1 wire alt

Hey guys how big a deal will it be to convert the Camaro over to a one wire? It has a ext reg.

It isn't. Buy a 1 wire alternator, run an 8 gauge wire from the alternator to the positive side of the battery, disconnect the old external regulator. If it has a factory voltmeter or idiot light, you may want to wire an aftermarket voltmeter up.

Thanks Alan....I was hoping it was that simple but dad said "No it's got an ext reg you can't just do that"
