You can make it tomorrow for Mardi Gras. Showing 75 degrees, 5 mph winds from the South, two (countem) rolling bar-b-que pits, a band, beads, dubloons, toys, all day and free. Fun for kids of all ages. If you are early, tonight the Krewe of Cleopatra with 600 women throwing stuff after a day of partying. Nice parade, plenty lights and plenty women and plenty beverages. We expect 50,000 to 75,000 people on the street tomorrow in Houma. This climaxes a season of 10 major parades in Houma, and 4 in the bayou communities, including a couple of boat parades. Maybe next year, the Cajun Sportsnationals in the middle of Mardi Gras.

did he say lots of half dressed women with large well you know 75 temps with lots of booze makes for lot of eye candy and crazy happinings better than spring break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two of my buddies are down there from Washington State! They are originally from Slidell.

They texted me a picture of the first place they went. All you can eat Crawfish for $19.95! They had an entire table full of them!

Very Jealous! I would love to see a Mardi Gras just once in my life! Have fun!

I didn't realize Houma had so much going on! We will be down Wednesday afternoon to dyno and then test on the weekend. Maybe time for some festivities at night? Hope to see you if you aren't too busy.

I had to settle eating at Razzoo's in Dallas Saturday night. I had two hurricanes and a mudbug appetizer. Does that count?

What's with all the daiquiri bars along Port Allen? I thought the hurricane was the drink of choice. I'd love to try the fried chicken at Willie Mae's sometime. I saw it on the Travel channel but couldn't find it on the internet.
