So I was thinking of upgrading the injectors on my LT1 powered Stocker, but $600 is a bit pricey. Is there a problem with just picking up a used set off Ebay for around $100, and having them cleaned if necessary?

Jegs has ACCEL injectors for something like $375.00. Thy are not Bosch injectors, which are as good as they come. 30lbs is plenty big enough.

Ed I would like to do the Bosch ones, just so I don't leave anything to chance. Just wondering if buying them used is acceptable, or do they have a life span? Thanks.

Jeff, it's nothing to see them go a couple hundred thousand miles. I would have them cleaned and flow tested for sure. Bench-top machines clean, flow test and you can see the spray patterns. Well worth it. I have mine done every winter just to be safe.
If they came from a race car they couldn't 't have many actual miles on them. I would still have them cleaned & tested to make sure.

I would imagine I will end up with a set from a street car, but maybe someone on here has a set for sale.

The Venom 30lb injectors that you can get new off Ebay are $299.99 and would be darn close to the Ford Racing injectors as far as your needs. I think they flow slightly more than the Ford's according to Jeff Warren, but it wouldn't cause you any problems.

I would avoid those. Very high failure rates, and too often don't flow as rated. I have seen so many problems with those I now refuse to tune a car with them. Stick with Bosch or Lucus if your not going to use the originals.

That is about 1/2 price Kyle, but maybe I should take my chance on a used set of Bosch, which will even be half of the Venoms.

I prefer the Ford Racing/Bosch if you can find them, but that is the problem. We haven't had any problems with the Venoms, but YMMV.
