Beings that Maple Grove had tons of water in the grass pits, i wonder with
today's Gorgeous Sunny Day, ( at least here in central jersey ) their would've been a seepage issue on the track ?? But if the pits were flooded then nobody would've been able to come in & park there rigs. Naturally only Sat & Sun to race, probably no class eliminations either for S /SS racers. Overall just a shame for alot of racers that travel with motorhomes (probably 90%) spend all that money on fuel. I came out on Friday 'bout 9:15am & got turned away by a fellow racer saying race is cancelled. It only cost me $100. in gas n tolls & that's with a Suburban & open trailer. Well just my .03 cents.

Pete,
I heard from a few sources that there was seepage problems at the Nationals last weekend also. I heard there was a rain storm on either Fri or Sat night that delayed racing for a bit because of seepage. Just think that was with 2weeks of no rain so there would have been major issues with seepage this weekend. That's what I heard from a few of the 90 guys. |
