Isn't that the engine Keith Lynch runs?

Question Re: 2009 345/300 hp/hemi

Didn't someone say that they accepted that street
version in the guide? That wouldn't be the Drag Pack version that others are running.

Maybe it isn't 12-1 compression.

I might be beating a dead horse ,Sure looks like another paper combo to me. I can not find any info anywhere of a 300 hp 345 ,not even in a pick-up or Jeep. Just another H -I-J car that was never made. Guess I should build a new Dodge LOL. Rick.

Rick its the 5.7 challenger RT street motor. pull up the stock car classification and you will see everything you need. 3600 lbs, rt hood, not the dragpak hood. MUCH lower compression of course like 10.5, etc, street throttle body. Standard stocker data.

Its nice to see in the guide.

Eric

Thanks Eric. The guide is the only place that this combo is mentioned. Dodge only lists a 370hp auto and 375 hp stick 5.7 hemi with a 250 hp v-6 and 425 hp 6.1. I guess my point is that NHRA gave this combo(non drag-pack) 5.7 hemi a 70-75 hp gift .Looks unbeatable in H-I-J to me. Here we go again. Rick.

Hit the nail on the head! The "other" 5.7 gets 116 hp added to it since its debut, yet somehow this is ok?

300 hp combo: 2.06"/1.56", .472"/.461", 10.5:1 CR, 80mm throttle body

421 hp combo: 2.10"/1.60", .602"/.569", 12.7:1 CR, 1000 cfm (?) throttle body

Guide shows different head castings too. Doesn't look like it'll be quite the farce the original was when it debuted at 305 hp., but it'll still be stupid fast!

Is there anyone building this combination? Sure would like to pick their brain. Sounds like a fun ride with a chance at some success.
