Slick Life

I know this is a loaded question with variables to consider, but I just what to know on average what I should expect from Hossier Slick life.
Since I installed a new converter, I have been plagued with inconsistency. Of course I need to find what it likes but every time I make a change in launch rpm or shock setting, the improvement lasts for one run. I have raced it with the poor reaction time and slow 60' and then all of a sudden it would wake up, launch and perform as expected.
I am thinking that the week link is now in the 80 run old 33x16-15 slicks.
