Welcome to another week of Wheelz-Up Radio. Your #1 Choice for Sportsman Drag Racing. This week on Wheelz-Up Radio presented by Sassy Race Engines we join host Chris Barnes, Tri-State Stock/SS President Mike Carr, Mid Atlantic .90 Association President Rob Keister & Bob "The Sheriff" Bender. On this week's show the gang will talk with Pro Stock Legend Larry Morgan about what he's been up to over the 2016 season. The guys will also preview the final Divisional Race on the East Coast in Rockingham, NC and the next to last National Event in the "Sin City" and Las Vegas. This week's guest is a Pro Stock legend and Larry Morgan. Larry, started his career out in the sportsman ranks winning 7 National Events in that series before stepping up to the Professional Ranks in 1989. Morgan won a total of 12 Events in Pro Stock driving everything from an Oldsmobile to Dodge to Ford to Chevy in his storied career. In 2016, Larry found himself on the outside looking in when his primary sponsor FireAide decided to sign in Top Fuel and leave Larry with no backer. Larry though didn't miss a step and decided to go back to where it all started and go back to his roots and race in the Sportsman ranks with a Stock COPO. Larry has also become a member of the famed Ohio Mile 200 mph club with his Jesel Land Speed Truck at 216mph back in early October. We will talk to Larry about his career and what plans he has for 2017 and if it involves going back to Pro Stock.
