LAS VEGAS - 138 Stockers
Wow, Stock looks like its alive and well at the Vegas points meet. I wonder if this is the highest car count for a division 7 race? 138 trying to qualify has to be a record for this time of year anywhere. Even Super Stock had 95, I wonder if this is a good sign for next year.

Yeah and 135 of them complaining how little respect they get from NHRA and wondering how they can pull strings to get into the next overpriced event!! Go figure.

I think this is a very good sign!
Just for fun, I went back and looked at the car counts at the 2006 Vegas divisional. There were 132 Stockers and 104 SS'ers that weekend. To be close to or even above those levels 10 years later is pretty cool, I think. |
