Hi to everyone here I am new to the forum. I recently purchased a 2000 Firebird F.J.Smith GT/FA or GA. I would like to know if anyone has tested different front runner tire as to see if any are faster than others?
Thanks in advance! |

Not looking to hijack this one, but it does kinda address a question I have. Going to be putting my bracket 68 Camaro on the road for minimal road use. Maybe couple cruises a month or so. Will still be primarily racing it. Most front runners I remember have the not DOT approved warning. Any suggestions for a better front runner that would handle very occasional street use. Thanks

Mickey Thompson offers some heavier duty street legal skinny front tires.

Rudy: Never did any extensive testing but I always have liked Moroso's fronts. Don't believe there is a lighter / tread friendly tire. IMO

I agree. I have had a pair of Moroso Deag Special 7.10-15s for many years, and not only do they not leak any air thru the sidewalls, they also never seem to show any tread wear. The only problems with the Moroso front runners is the Drag Specials are available in just 3 sizes, and for some, no contingency $$$.
