Just got word that he died last night after his battle with Lou Gerigs disease

Another great guy gone. Him, Tom and Donna were fixtures on the D2 circuit for many years. Prayers for Donna and the entire family.

So sad to hear this news, I was not aware that Merrill was battling ALS. I really enjoyed racing in Florida knowing Merrill and Donna would be there. He was a true car guy. We would talk about the Corvettes that he and Donna owned. My prayers go out to Donna, may GOD bless you . GODSPEED. !!!!!
