new GT build needing the alum. steering shaft cover ive seen around...any idea who would have them or advice? tks

I use 2" OD alum tube, .062" on the wall. Fab an upper and lower collar ( Nylon or similiar) to suit the 3/4" shaft and use 3 rivets to hold the collars in position. Also notch a piece of 1 1/2" square tube, drill holes and weld as a mount .

If you buy the kit from one of the chassis companies they come with everything you need to install it. I think I got mine from Jegs.
