Anyone on here running a 27 Davis Roadster with Mickey Thompsons or Hoosies? What part number slick are you running? and what size rear rim and back space do you have? I am thinking of going from Goodyear (currently using a #1672 14.5x32) to M/T's or Hoosiers.

I have a C&F Race Cars 27 Roadster that I run in S/G....... I started out with a Goodyear 15 x 33.5 and then switched to a Hoosier 15 x 33 with a 104" rollout....... they are on 15 x 14 rims, but I'm sure I have less back space then you do....... the Goodyears were a high growth tire and I thought by switching I would loose mph....... BUT I actually picked up in 60 ft and didn't loose anything on the top end....... also, I was changing tires every 40 runs with the Goodyears, which is probably half the life of the Hoosiers...... you just need to check your backspace....... but if the pic is of your car, it looks like you could probably use wheels with less backspace and move the tire out a bit...........
