Cool. I've never been there before. How is the track I hear its a real short shut down. I've heard good and bad things also. So whats the consensus.

The track is located adjacent to a sod farm, limited blacktop, bite is good in either lane, hard left turn to get to left lane water box, sharper than maple grove, be aware of where you are when you cross the stripe, but if I can stop with no issues you can. All pit spots are nice.

Island is 20 minutes from my house. I've raced there since.....forever. You have to get on the brakes as soon as you clear the finishline. If you coast down a ways you'll be in trouble and leaning on the brakes very hard. I have run nearly 170 in a dragster and 150 in a doorcar and never had any problem. Many weekly bracketdragsters run 170+ and have no problems stopping without a chute. A hardtail car really is better off using one.....Pits are small..
