What the H E double tooth picks, no body asked me what I thought. Once again acting in the best interest of themselves.
On the serious side, Great job advisory council. Maybe we can make some changes for the positive in sportsman racing. Everyone needs to be patient and let the reps do their jobs.

A great accomplishment
Next should be extending the expiration dates on Belts to more than the current 2 years. I'm sure everyone has a quite a collection of expired belts.

You bet Ang. I just replaced my belts, and you can't tell the old from the new. Two years is rediculous! $135.00 for nothing. If you want people to keep racing you need to get real. Let's try seven years. Simpson won't go out of business. They started out redating/inspecting belts, now you need to buy all new belts. They are getting greedy.

When you consider just how long race cars are actually in the sun(maybe 5%of the time), seven years sounds like quite a reasonable amount of time. Two years is definitely skewed too far to the short end of the stick.

I think the oil down revision is a great step forward and in the right direction. My hats off the the council !
I agree with that belt deal 100%. I am looking at a new set at the end of this season. Thats just $150 that can go to a better place ! 5 yrs would be good to me. The Military(Helicopter) cycles em out at 5 yrs still, I think.....

Good job on the oil down issue. On a related topic, does that mean we won't need a diaper? Placing a diaper on a traditional SS car or even stocker is total absurdity.
![]() I agree on the belts also. My car is in the shop and will need belts upon release from chassis prison. Probably got a dozen uses on this last set of belts and just like everybody else, they look brand new. ![]()
