Default mod motor mustang stocker??

Does any body run a 99-04 mustang in stock or super stock with the 4.6 mod motor?? I am interested in seeing if one of these cars would be a viable combination in stock or super stock

Bret Velde runs an 03 (I think) in A/S. It's the 4.6L supercharged rated at 390 HP.

I have not seen any 99 to 04 2V Mustang in Stock Eliminator. I think that a lot of racers are afraid to try to build a race car out of the Modular motor. The 2v modular heads don't flow that well, even the PI heads (99-04) NHRA also doesn't have the specs correct for that engine either. The year 99 valve lift is listed correctly at 505/534 but they messed up the 00 to 04. (280/295) They should be the same. If I were to build one I would build a 01 or later because they have a little more compression and the same factory horsepower rating.

I like the 4 Valve DOHC Modular engines on the 96 to 98 Cobras. Stock the DOHC heads flow very well, even better then the LT1s and LS1s. The aluminum block is very strong with 6 bolt mains. I think that it would make a great high-winding engine. The only problem would be at tear-down. It would take more time to take appart.
