Important updates for Crew Chief Pro 7.0 Software

We have added quite a few things lately in response to what we learned at Vegas and Pomona.

In Vegas the Baro dropped 45 points which was out of normal range for our predictions and we were not adjusting enough. So in response we made many changes. The old version the Baro change may have been .05 for this much Baro, the new one will be far more aggessive. When Baro or Temp changes move more then the new formulas try to adjust accordingly.

We have now added 2 boxes on the Prediction Screen. They are SMALL check boxes located to the right of Temperature and Barometer.

If you click on either of these boxes the factors used to predict are no longer static, they turn into dynamic factors. This means they change more and more as the conditions get better or worse. Instead of one factor you now have thousands of possible factors all automatically adjusting.

We have also included variable Slope Factors. More or less it is an acceleration curve used in the calculations. If you increase these factors the rate of change increases. Do not adjust these without first writing down the originals so you don't really screw it up. These are located on the FACTORS screen.

Keep in mind this is a Test Version. I want to see how it acts in some side by side tests. If it works but needs improvement then let me know. If it does not then just click it off and nothing will change.

In the next few weeks we will tweak it more and more.
