Default Bob Pott passes away

I am sad to report that Bob Pott has passed away today. He was a Div-7 Stock racer form Az. I have known Bob for years he was always a good racer and friend. Everytime we raced out west he always had a smile and was always a joy to talk with him about Fords. Please keep Rusty,Kelly and the rest of the Pott family in your prayers through this tough time. The dragstrip in heaven has one more Ford racer on the qualifying sheet!!! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers I will post more when services are set.

We have to all take comfort in the fact that Bob is no longer in pain. As Steven said he is racing in heaven.
He always had a postive attitude, was a true friend and a man with integrity.
He will be missed greatly by all whose lives he touched.

Funeral arrangements are not final - tentative arrangements are the weekend of the Houston Natls at Bob & Penny's church in Sedona.
Please keep Penny, Kelly and all the family in your thoughts and prayers.
For those of us who are able to attend the funeral, I would like to suggest we all wear a little yellow (either in clothing or armbands) to honor his years of racing and his love of his mustang Ol Yeller.

I am very sad to hear this. I spoke with Bob at the Pomona race early this year. He was happy and looked like he was recovering well from his illness. He was very excited about Kelly driving his car. He always spoke with a smile on his face. It is an honor to know him. Rest in peace Bob, you will be missed....................

Bob always had a smile on his face and a cheerful greeting when he saw you. It was a pleasure to have known him. My condolences to his family.

Sad news, indeed. Bob had friends everywhere he went and no one enjoyed a day at the track more thoroughly. We'll all miss him.

This truly is a sad day, Bob was one of the reason I like to go stock racing. Hangin with him and his daughter Kelly, Dennis Alvey, Joe, Richie Pauley was all part of the ride. It will definitely be different without Bob. God Bless ya Bob.....

My condolences as well, Bob always seemed truly happy @ the races and I think he enjoyed Kelly behind the wheel as much as himself.
My thoughts and prayers to Kelly and the rest of the family.
