Default AVS carb in SSGT?

Can a Carter AVS carb #6125-S which was on a 1971 383 motor be used
on a claimed 1970 383 in SSGT (probably FA)?

Is there a Holley carb that is considered legal?

Wink Re: AVS carb in SSGT?

All 340 & 383 AVS carbs are the same size and configuration. The 440 AVS has larger primaries. A holly came on the 71 383 engine that Don Little runs. Steve Wann runs the 383 AVS ... so the answer is yes ..
