shims for 5.0 pedestal rockers

what is the best to use for shimming my rockers? any help is greatly appreciated.

Don`t forget that as of this year, we can now use guide plates, so screw in studs are a viable option to the shims or z@#%&** adjustable pushrods!

I had a handful of rat motor valve springs shims left over from the Vega days. Just cut them up with tin snips, drilled a 5/16 hole and party on Garth!!

thanks guys. got some old feeler gauges i was thinking of using. just checking to see if there was some super-duper fix all 3 tenths faster shims i should use
