For all you Q jet guys out there I was wondering what size needle and seat you run in your combos. What size can you run up to? I've hear .140 is max. Thanks in advance...

A 0.140" needle and seat is about the maximum size. It is important to note that the larger the needle and seat is, the lower the maximum fuel pressure is.

I use the Edelbrock one in my carbs, I think that they are a .149 if I remember correctly.

Todd, I've tried modifying some with larger seats than .140 . There's enough room on the needle for a little more, but they didn't seal well. Probably not enough leverage from the float.
Grose Jets supposedly flow more @ a lesser opening, but I never had good luck with them on a Q jet.
