Help me out but when Emily Stott's daughter won at Rockingham this weekend I think that makes the first Mother Daughter Ironman winners in IHRA. It also makes the 3rd time a 3rd generation Iron man winner has won.
Pretty neat stat if you ask me. Herb Mccandless jr |

Yes thats great. I know the Emmons have some great combo wins too. My family won three classes at INDY one year which made it Father, Son and Daughter. All with Truppi motors too. Great family memories.

Emily, start saving your pennies. Before you know it she will want a Q/R or T/D like Dylan. Who knows, she might want a certain 69 SS/IA Camaro. (LOL) Mike

congratulations to the whole family. It is nice to keep the family tradition going in a world where that doesn't seem to happen much anymore.

Oh yea and remember on thing, you might be the kid but the grandkid will always win out. Once grandkids come along the kids will take a back seat.

At the moment I'm trying to keep my 14 yr old nephew out of the drivers seat of my car, but I'm sure in a few years I will have to worry about Case wanting to drive.
Thanks for all the great comments. Also to Herb....I know what you mean about the grandkids.....My parents have 3 grandchildren and they all have them wrapped! But it's ok...I'm just thankful that my daughter has such great grandparents and me, my brother and my sister have such great parents. Without my parents none of this would be possible. |
