Mopar® HEMI® Challenge Race Series Approved
To: All HEMI® Challenge Participants
Subject: Mopar® HEMI Challenge for 2009

The 2009 NHRA Mopar Hemi Challenge is now scheduled. We will distribute an official press release very soon, but we are letting you know now, so you can save the dates.

There will be three events this year.

The Mac Tools U.S. Nationals on Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2–7. The schedule will be as usual, with the final on Friday evening at the beginning of pro qualifying.
The HEMI Challenge series will then head to the JEGS Northern SPORTSnationals in Columbus, Ohio, on Sept. 25–27.
The third and final 2009 Challenge event will be on October 22–25 at the Maple Grove Raceway Dutch Classic in Reading, Pa.

The U.S. Nationals victor will take home a $10,000 winner’s purse. The winners of the other two events will each receive $5,000. Each HEMI Challenge race is a stand-alone event.
