Looking at a 427 side bolt block are they hard to find and what are they worth? Rory what do you think.

I know of a guy here in town that used to use one of those as a coffee table base. Last I heard from him, he was selling all his stuff for his retirement. There is an Iron Genesis block on E-Bay currently for $4k. Says it's legal for stock & SS.

Depends on what shape it's in, if it's been bored or not.
There are 2 or 3 manufacturers making FE 427 blocks. (Pond, Genesis, Shelby come to mind) You can find them on ebay quite often keep an eye on how much they go for. Best place to ask your question: http://www.network54.com/Forum/74182/ |

Kevin your right Pole Barns,school buses ,dump trucks,& irrigation pumps , peach fields heaters. That is where we have found them in the past . Red . But a very rare find .

Old boats have them also, A friend of mine has a 36 ft chris craft with twin 427s.
