CSR is a joke. I R/U at a race in my brother's car that HAD the product/ WAS on-file/ AND VERIFIED per NHRA tech official and was told they would NOT pay (after COUNTLESS un-answered emails and NO returned phone calls. I think it was because it was not in my name. I have another story but won't bother. Just will remember this next time I need a starter or water pump.

So what about Thomas Fletcher's win at Maple Grove. Will he or Dan receive ANY contingency from the stickers on Dan's car? I would think NOT since Thomas and not Dan was driving the stocker.

Can anyone clarify that for me?

Thanks
Manny

I called several times and got anyone to return my calls. I sent emails and finally did get a response. I was told that they don't have any record of my having their product and if I can submit a receipt then it won't be a problem. I replied that I bought the water pump from Summit Racing a while ago and the receipt is long gone. After that, nothing. I decided to take their decals off the car and put a small Mopar Performance decal over the CSR logo on the pump so that no one will be able to see their name. I had a similar problem with Jet Hot Coatings. No response and no help at all. NHRA should be helping us but since there isn't anything in it for them, I suspect they just don't care but that's just my opinion.

CSR and Jet Hot are definately the worse. CSR owed me for my Rockingham win last year for starter and water pump. The IHRA official left off the starter and I did'nt catch it. They finally paid me for the pump. It took 6 or 7 months though. I DID GET PAID. I did by a mezeire water pump this year though. Jet Hot still owes me a few hundred bucks they paid part of it.
Everyone was all upset about IHRA contingency being down this year. The good thing is the ones that post actually pay in a timely manner. The only issue I've had this year is Harland Sharp won't pay without a receipt for the same rockers they paid me for last year. New motor won't have Harland Sharp on it and I've bought 4 sets in the last 3 years. I guess it's my fought I'm terrible at keeping records.

Back in 2001 when I had another person driving my IHRA Modified G/ED I got stiffed by CSR/CSI for 3 div RU's. At the time I had jumped through all their hoops. No pay! I just hated to see our names in the CSI "Score cards" printed in IHRA paper. Using us as advertisers without paying us. funny thing.. I had about $5,000 of their product on the shelves of my store & usually used some of their product on every engine that went out.. Guess how much of their product has gone out on engines and is on the shelf at the shop.. thats right "0",,, Now the good side of this; companies that paid timely without a hassle are still used and sold at my shop.
Some, but not all.. Comp (several of their products) Manley, Holley (at that time) Hooker & several MSD products. The best was PTC.. Kenny Ford had the check in my hands almost as quick as I got home.. Great product and service. I just considered myself lucky to get paid and I support the companies that support sportsman racing.

CSI is about as dead beat a company as they come.
Short products in the box, lie about delivery times, and look for every excuse not to pay contingency.
Summit has stuff on back order from CSI for over 6 months.
I wonder if they run their track the same way?

CSR owns a track, I know the owners daughter runs a S/C dragster out of div 2. maybe everyone should track her down and ask for their $$$.
