I've heard a '64 Ford Thunderbolt was being built to run in AA/SA. Does anyone have any info on this car? I think it may be in the div.1 area.
Thanks

I remember talking to a guy about one he was building before I quit IHRA. I dont remember his name but that was over 7 years ago and it should have been finished by now. The IHRA AA/S class wt break is 7.0 lbs per HP by the way.

I saw John Calvert's Thunderbolt at his shop last year. I sold and delivered an extra 427 engine I had for my Thunderbolt. He said at that time he would run AA/S.
