Does anyone remember this car being campaigned with an automatic transmission, because I don't.

hmmmm-that's interesting, I don't either. I was helping my friend John in SS/D or E and we ran into them fairly regulary and I recall having to run them heads up.

This shot was taken at Keystone Raceway.
Car had an automatic that day.

When he did go to the stick...... he was very fast. My father ran the same class. Harry holeshot Barry on several occasions including Indy back in the 70s. Old man Herb (barrys father) used to pull his hair out when he lost to us.

Love that period correct intake and the Jesel belt drive.. :~)
It does have the small Stick shift brake pedal. My 69-Z came that way.
Has those Cragar SS wheels, too!!
Nice car, brings back memories...

this car has been at MECUM before. I saw it last year on TV and it was a "no-sale".
