Ok Chris, you come up with the down stroke & get it factored to 190 hp & we will go racing. We should be the bad boys in about p stick.

I just read Car & Driver comparrison on '11 Mustang GT with 6-speed and 3.73's against 2010 Camaro SS w/ 6-speed and 3.42's.
The Mustang ran 13.20 @ 107 to Camaro which ran 13.0 @ 109. The comments were the Camaro had bigger rear tires from the factory so that's why it was a little quicker. So I read the tech sheet. The Camaro 6-speed has a 3.02 low gear and the Mustang has a 3.66 low gear! Holly crap, why would that Mustang need such a dump truck gear? The starting line ratio on the Camaro is 10.32 while the Mustang is 13.65 which is a good number for a drag car! Obviously that Mustang will be hard to hook on stock tires with that kind of multiplication factor. But I want one! Also, they compared the 6-cylinder versions. The Camaro went 14.5 ET and the Mustang went 14.0 ET.

What do these 5.0 Mustang GT cars weigh from factory? Also raceweight of the 11.80's one on that video? Thanks. These will prove to be awesome stockers when they start showing up trackside, and probably will build a reputation similar to one that the '98-'02 LS-1 Camaros and Firebirds have built out there....WJ
