Just got home from the Southern S/SS Association and Scotty Richardson's No-Box Series events at South Georgia Motorsports Park. Short fields, so we got two days of racing for two different events all done in one day. That meant one less day out in the heat, one race in the slightly cooler nighttime conditions, and more travel time.

Race#1
Winner - Michael Beard
Runner-Up - Richard Mace

Race #2
Winner - Brien Radley
Runner-up - Michael Beard

Richard Mace also scored a R/U in the first $2K No-Box race.

I snapped a few pics around dusk, before I realized they were calling us to the lanes for first round of the 2nd race.

Nice meeting and racing with some new folks!

Thanks for coming down and taking all our money Beard! At least you left a little on the table! Seriously, it was a pleasure to see and talk to you again. I think the double double worked very well all things considered. Oh yeah and the rest of the SSSSA racers said to tell you we really aren't having a $10,000 race. That was just a joke, yeah, that's it, a joke. So don't plan on coming back down the week before the PRI for that one. Jim
